Insta360 launches its Back to School 2026 deals, with several interesting promotions on its 360° cameras, action cams, and mini cameras.

The campaign runs in two phases: a first wave from August 24 to September 4, followed by a second series of offers from September 4 to 27, 2026.

And this time, there are some really good deals.

I’ve been testing Insta360 cameras for several generations. The brand regularly sends me its new products so I can use them before publishing my reviews and comparisons. So I’m not just going to copy a price list for you: I’m mainly going to tell you the deals I find genuinely interesting and the models I would choose today.

Among the promotions I’m highlighting:

  • Insta360 X4 Air from €329
  • Insta360 GO 3S from €235
  • Insta360 Ace Pro 2 from €319
  • Insta360 Ace Pro from €219
  • Insta360 X5 from €479 starting September 4
  • Insta360 X4 from €329
  • Insta360 X3 from €229
  • Insta360 GO Ultra from €359

Insta360 Back to School Deals at a Glance

Here are the offers I find most interesting during this promotion.

Insta360 GO Ultra€429€359€70
Insta360 X5€589.99€479€110.99

Please note: not all these offers start on the same day. The X4 Air, GO 3S, and some Ace Pro models are available from August 24, while the X5, X4, X3, and GO Ultra promotions begin on September 4.

First Wave: Offers from August 24 to September 4

Insta360 X4 Air at €329: Probably the Best Compromise for Starting in 360°

The Insta360 X4 Air is among the most interesting products in this first period.

The Standard Bundle goes from €399 to €329, a saving of €70.

The Starter Bundle is also available at €349 instead of €429.

At €329, the X4 Air becomes particularly attractive for someone who wants to discover 360° video without immediately upgrading to an X5 or X6.

It’s also a camera I find suitable for travel. The advantage of a 360° camera is precisely not having to constantly think about framing while filming. You start recording, enjoy the moment, and choose your angle later in editing.

If you absolutely want the best possible quality, I’d still recommend an X5 or now an X6. But that’s a completely different budget.

Insta360 GO 3S from €235: My Recommendation for Filming Without Bulk

The GO 3S also benefits from several discounts:

GO 3S PackSpecial price
Standard 64GB€259
Standard 128GB€279
Motorcycle Bundle 128GB€295
Retro Bundle 64GB€235
Retro Bundle 128GB€249

The GO 3S remains a rather unique camera.

It doesn’t try to replace a large action cam. Its appeal lies elsewhere: it’s so small that you can wear it and get angles you’d probably never use with a traditional camera.

For filming vacations, children, a walk, a POV sequence, or simply having a small camera always available, I find the concept remains excellent.

However, if image quality and low light are your priorities, the GO Ultra has clearly surpassed it.

I’ve actually compared the two models to determine which is more interesting depending on the use case.

Insta GO3S Review

Insta360 Ace Pro 2 at €319: The One I’d Choose as an Action Cam

The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Single Battery Standard Bundle goes from €379 to €319.

The two-battery pack, meanwhile, goes from €399 to €339.

This is probably the camera I would primarily recommend to someone who tells me:

“I don’t necessarily want to film in 360°, I mainly want an excellent action cam.”

The Ace Pro 2 is more traditional than an X5 or X6: you choose your framing when you film.

But that also makes it simpler.

It is particularly suitable for travel, sports outings, vlogging, or people who want to quickly retrieve their videos without systematically going through a 360° reframing step.

I also had the opportunity to try out the Xplorer version, which somewhat transforms the camera’s approach with a more travel and street-oriented use.

→ Discover my review of the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Xplorer

At €319, the Ace Pro 2 is, in my opinion, one of the best deals in this operation.

Videography & Xplorer Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Packs

Insta360 Ace Pro at €219: Hard to Beat at This Price

The first Ace Pro benefits from an even greater discount.

The Standard Bundle goes from €329.99 to just €219.

The Xplorer Bundle, meanwhile, drops from €419 to €275.

Obviously, the Ace Pro 2 is newer.

But not everyone needs the latest generation.

At €219, the first Ace Pro becomes an extremely interesting option for someone looking for a good action camera without exceeding €250.

It’s even one of the promotions I would look at first if budget is the main criterion.

Second Wave: Offers from September 4 to 27

It’s from September 4 that the campaign truly becomes interesting for 360° camera enthusiasts.

The X5, X4, and X3 join the promotions.

Insta360 X5 at €479: The One I’d Choose for a Real Price Drop

The Insta360 X5 Standard Bundle goes from €589.99 to €479.

This represents approximately €111 in savings.

Several other bundles are also included:

Insta360 X5Special price
Standard Bundle€479
Photography Grip Bundle€499
Vlog Bundle€515
Starter Bundle€525
MM93€559
Essential Bundle€565

The MM93 bundle notably benefits from €200 off, going from €759 to €559.

Is the X5 still worth it since the X6 arrived?

Yes.

And I say that even though I’m currently using the X6.

I’ve used the X5 a lot, and it remains an excellent 360° camera. It films in 8K, has replaceable lenses, and already offers very good image quality.

The X6 improves several things, particularly low light performance, the screen, reframing flexibility, and certain practical aspects.

But that doesn’t make the X5 bad overnight.

At €479, the price difference becomes significant enough for the X5 to regain a lot of appeal.

You can find my full review here:

→ My review and full test of the Insta360 X5

And if you’re hesitating between the two generations, I’ve done a real comparison after several weeks of use:

→ Insta360 X6 vs X5: The Differences I Actually Noticed

I notably compared the two cameras in low light and 8K. It’s much more telling than a simple spec sheet comparison.

And the Insta360 X6 in all this?

The X6 is currently the newest 360° model I use from Insta360.

After about three weeks with the camera, its main advantage over the X5 is quite clear to me: it becomes significantly more interesting when the light drops.

I also appreciate its more comfortable screen and the greater margin available after reframing.

However, the X6 does not appear in the main Back to School discount grid that was communicated to me. The campaign page currently primarily highlights X5, X4 Air, X4, X3, Ace Pro 2, GO Ultra, and GO 3S for the benefits related to the operation.

If you are still considering the latest model:

Insta360 X4 at €329: The Offer That Might Make You Hesitate with the X4 Air

The Insta360 X4 Standard Bundle goes from €475.99 to €329.

That’s €146.99 off, or about 31%.

The Starter Bundle, meanwhile, drops to €369 instead of €529.99.

At this price, the X4 becomes particularly interesting.

And there’s even a somewhat amusing situation: during this period, the X4 and X4 Air can be found at the same price of €329 depending on the pack and the period.

In this case, take the time to compare the models precisely before ordering, rather than automatically going for the one that seems newest.

Insta360 X3 at €229: Still Interesting in 2026?

This is probably the question that will come up most often.

The X3 is obviously no longer the most modern 360° camera in the range.

But it drops to:

€229 instead of €359.99 for the Standard Bundle.

And €265 instead of €419.99 for the Starter Bundle.

At €229, I find it regains real appeal.

If your goal is simply to discover 360° video, film your vacations, or create some original shots, it’s not necessarily necessary to spend €500 or €600.

However, someone who films a lot, reframes heavily, or wants to keep their camera for several years would be better off upgrading to an X4 or X5.

I’ve also compared the evolutions between these generations:

→ See the differences between Insta360 X5, X4, and X3

For me, the X3 at €229 is therefore primarily the economical entry point into 360° video.

Insta360 GO Ultra from €359: My Preference in the GO Range

The Insta360 GO Ultra Standard Bundle goes from €429 to €359.

Several packs are also included:

GO UltraSpecial price
Standard Bundle€359
Aero Cycling Bundle€375
Creator Bundle€389
Premium Cycling Bundle€419
Lifestyle Bundle€429
Tadej Pogačar Edition€459

I tested the GO Ultra, and it’s a camera I particularly like for a very simple reason: you almost forget you’re wearing it.

It’s made for situations where taking out a large camera becomes cumbersome.

Travel, hiking, cycling, POV, family moments, behind-the-scenes of a shoot… the format is really interesting.

The GO Ultra also brings two things I appreciate compared to the GO 3S: 4K60 and microSD storage.

It’s slightly less discreet than the GO 3S, but much more versatile when you start demanding more from the camera.

My Top 5 Insta360 Back to School 2026 Deals

If I had to choose among all the promotions, here are the ones I would pick.

1. Insta360 X5 at €479

My choice for a high-end 360° camera without paying the price of the latest generation.

The X6 is better in several aspects, but the price drop to €479 makes the X5 much more attractive.

2. Insta360 Ace Pro at €219

The best price/action cam value of the operation.

At this price, it becomes hard to ignore for someone who doesn’t absolutely need the Ace Pro 2.

3. Insta360 Ace Pro 2 at €319

My recommendation for a recent and versatile action cam.

This is the one I would choose if I wanted a traditional action cam rather than a 360° camera.

4. Insta360 X3 at €229

The best entry point into 360°.

It’s older compared to the X5 and X6, but its price completely changes the equation.

5. Insta360 GO Ultra at €359

My preference for travel and POV.

More expensive than the GO 3S, but more ambitious in image quality and much more comfortable if you film regularly.

Which Insta360 to Choose Based on Your Use?

Rather than choosing solely based on the discount, here’s what I would pick depending on the use.

You want to discover 360° video

Insta360 X3 at €229 if budget is a priority.

You want a 360° camera with excellent value for money

Insta360 X4 at €329.

You want a high-end 360° camera

Insta360 X5 at €479 during this promotion.

You want the best current 360° model

Look at the X6 instead, even if its price is higher.

You want a classic action cam

Insta360 Ace Pro 2 at €319.

You want an action cam at the best price

Insta360 Ace Pro at €219.

You want a tiny camera for everyday use

GO 3S.

You want a more powerful mini-camera for travel and content creation

GO Ultra at €359.

Are Insta360’s promotions really worth it?

Some are, others less so.

A significant discount isn’t enough to make a product interesting.

For example, I prefer to recommend a slightly more expensive camera if it truly matches the intended use, rather than systematically recommending the one with the biggest discount percentage.

After using several Insta360 generations, my advice remains the same: first, think about how you’re going to film.

A 360° camera like the X5 gives incredible freedom because you can choose your framing after filming.

An Ace Pro 2 is more direct: you frame, you film, and your file is practically ready.

A GO Ultra follows yet another logic: having a camera so small that you take it into situations where you would have left a traditional camera in your bag.

So these are three different experiences.

The GO 3S remains smaller and more accessible. I would choose the GO Ultra if image quality, 4K60, battery life, and the ability to use a microSD card are important.

My Opinion on These Insta360 Back to School Offers

What I find interesting about this campaign is that it doesn’t only concern older products.

The X5 remains an excellent 360° camera today. The Ace Pro 2 is still an action cam I can easily recommend. And the GO Ultra is sufficiently different to have a real place alongside more classic cameras.

For someone who simply wants to try 360°, I would look at the X3 at €229.

For someone who genuinely wants to use a 360° camera regularly, my choice during the promotions would rather be the X5 at €479.

And for someone who doesn’t want to go through 360° reframing and simply wants a very good action camera, I would go for the Ace Pro 2 at €319.

These are the three offers I find most coherent, rather than recommending a camera solely because it has the biggest discount.
